Re-opening of Broadstone Mill Shopping Outlet

Re-opening of Broadstone Mill Shopping Outlet

On Monday 15th June, in line with Government guidelines and Public Health England advice we will be re-opening the doors of the Broadstone Mill Shopping Outlet again.

Our opening hours will be 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday – Saturday and 11am – 5pm on Sunday * (10.30am for browsing*)

Café Moda and The Terrace Tearoom will remain closed in line with government guidance. Until they re-open we will be working with The Coffee Bean Dream (Mobile Coffee Van) who will be on site (outside in the car park), they will be on hand selling take away hot and cold drinks with some sweet treats too – their hours will depend on a number of factors but they are planning to be there from approx. 8am until approx. 2pm every day.

The Works re-opening is still to be confirmed.

We have been working hard in the background to create a safe and pleasant shopping experience for our customers and working environment for our staff.  Some changes have been made and implemented inside the store, and some new working practices are in place to ensure we are adhering to the government’s social distancing guidelines.

Our changing rooms will not be open for trying on items of clothing when we re-open.

All our staff have been fully trained on the new guidelines for Covid-19 Health and Safety and will be on hand to help make your shopping experience with us as pleasant and safe as possible.

There will be a new temporary entrance into the shop and the exit will be as normal to keep customers from having to pass too closely.  This will be manned by a member of our team.  It will be necessary for us to control the amount of customers in store at any one time in order to maintain safe social distancing. You may be asked to queue outside before being allowed in to the store.  There may also be a limit on groups entering the store to a maximum of 2 people per household.  If you are shopping with children we ask that they stay with you and that they are supervised at all times.  A sanitising station will be available when you enter the store to wipe down your basket/trolley handles and for personal hand hygiene too.

Clear signage and floor markings have been put in place to further assist and remind customers about social distancing whilst shopping.  We feel so fortunate that we have a lovely spacious store.  There is also signage to ensure a clear queuing procedure and social distancing when you are waiting to pay.  We would prefer where possible if payment is made by card, but we will also be taking cash payments.  Protection screens have also been installed at the till points.

As you are aware and will understand these guidelines are essential in the current climate to keep us all safe and to minimise/limit the spread of the virus.  We thank you in advance for adhering to the social distancing and other guidelines that we are having to follow in store.

Please be safe, alert and kind to each other and our staff in these different times.
